Ntombekhaya Tracy Jayiya founded JFT Jewels in November 2005. Ntombekhaya is the company Director, and the business has developed phenomenally as a result of her extensive commercial experience.
Her passion for property development inspired her to venture into the hospitality industry in 2019 and she opened JFT Jewels Guest House. This bed and breakfast, with five luxury en-suite rooms, is located in the upmarket suburb of Nahoon in East London’s prime real estate, close to the exclusive Nahoon Beach. In the same year she opened JFT Self Catering Units in Southernwood which falls under the jurisdiction of Buffalo City Municipality. There are 30 rooms, accommodating 60 guests. The Units are in an ideal location being close to shopping centres, hospitals and the beach. The area offers plenty of activities and entertainment to make your stay very memorable.
Ntombekhaya’s business expansion addresses job opportunities to empower women and the unemployed youth within the community. In addition her brand offers world class, affordable accommodation that appeals to international and domestic tourists. The accommodation is perfect for the business sector, small conferences, tour groups and individual travellers.

Our corporate and social responsibility extends into our nearby rural community where we sponsor schools with soccer, cricket and netball equipment. We also have a ‘back-to-school’ initiative where we provide uniforms, bags and shoes. We contribute where required to local churches.
We acknowledge the importance of reducing our carbon footprint and we are in the process of introducing energy saving devices. We recycle grey water for the gardens.
